This is 13150 S. Tripp Road, Amboy Twp., Hillsdale Co., Michigan. East side of Road. This farm was at one time owned by Russell & Ilene Clark, who lived there. Because I never heard of anyone else living there, I believe it were they who sold it to brothers Raymond & Short Pettit. Pettits never lived there as they were across and to the north. Approx 1960/61 the house was sold off by the Pettit Bros. to Sophia Gear. Then after 2000 the Recklau boys moved to the house and used the Pettit barn. I believe they bought the house at that time, as Sophia was late 90's or near 100 years old. The last Pettit brother died in 2006, farm left to step-daughter, and she sold it to the Recklau. The field in front of the photo is for 13300 Tripp, where I grew up. All people listed here, except the step-daughter are from old farm families.

This address should read 13151 S. Tripp Road. Originally the addresses were only the first four digits and then the county added to the end of the addresses- a "1" for those on the east side of the road, and a "0" for those on the west side of the road.
