I live just south of I-96, Exit 117. My grandpa started Bill's Sunoco (2635) around the 1960's. He lived at 2610 and started Bill's Wrecker & Radiator Service at 2610. I've been at 2610, since 1994. My grandma lives on grand river. I'm familiar with and live in the area. Also, I never received a notification about your comment. Maybe add a way to tag users in comments? It's also unclear how tags work compared to comments. Should I be commenting the address or does tagging the house number work fine? Obviously, Geo-tagging helps the most.

Thank you for sharing your families history of this area! We don't have a way to tag users, but under "Your Comment" and above the "Submit" button is an option to get notified via e-mail if someone comments under your comment. Tags are used more for keywords such as "Silo" "Water tower", where comments are more addresses and story telling. You are correct Geo-tagging helps the most, but we do appreciate when people leave addresses or family history.
