The old Cordy Wallace Farm

This was my grandparents farm. Spent some quality time there. Lots of stories!

Cordy Wallace was my mother's half-brother. My family lived on an 80-acre farm between Cedar Springs and Sand Lake until we moved to Oregon in 1955. I remember visiting this farm once with my four siblings and marveling that our cousin Jerry had a pony!

Cordy Wallace was my great uncle, sister of Marie Burch, my grandmother. In the 50's and 60's we visited often. Uncle Cordy was a ferocious Shetland pony breaker at 5' tall. I remember him wrestling them to the ground and seeing them pulling Uncle Cordy in a dressed up wagon in parades in Cedar Springs
