We bought this home in 2007 and are the 3rd owners. The property looks nothing like this now. Since the 1980 photo, the original owners established a Christmas tree farm (Krampe Tree Farm on Childsdale Ave SE, Rockford, MI). In the 1990's, they sold off the land to a developer (Pulte), tore down the separated garage outbuilding, moved the driveway, and the home now sits on 0.4 acre and is surrounded by other homes and streets.

The original owners were the owners of Stehouwer's Frozen Foods in Grand Rapids.
