This is the original Geers family farm, currently owned by my brother-in-law Bernard Geers. The farm itself is probably the same size, but operations and activities have grown since Bernard took over.
this is the farm where both my brother ,barney geers and i jeanne Geers Damhof, were actually born on the property, our sister Margaret Geers Newland was brought home from the hospital to this home..There was a second home on the property east of the home shown herethat our family lived in that was later moved to the city of mcBain and is still occupied.. Our family later moved to 3390 W.Geers Rd. but our aunt and uncle Hank and Helen Geers continued to live there. Several years later our brother Barney Geers who said he was retired moved back to the home farm and established with his wife Jo his farm with the belguim horses, oreo cows and the ever popular pumpkin days farm and best place to get pumpkin doughnuts plus Chritmas greens and much more.
