This is my grandparents(Mansko's) house. I don't recall who they bought the property from though.
This is the house I grew up in. It's on 64th Ave between Stony Lake Rd and Hayes Rd. It was moved to this property around 42 years ago. It originally was located on Hayes Rd where the north bound lane of US 31 goes through.
We got property from Ed Burmeister in which he had a 3 legged dog and drove a old creepy grey car! The house we bid on and was in highway right of way for new highway construction.Jim Noecker was the house mover that moved to our farm and i rode on the roof of house to lift and guide the powerlines from tearing off the shingles and the little bit of chimney sticking up then guide it off the end of house. The lines are very heavy to lift up and carry as house is moving (pretty dangerous) bulldozer pulling does not stop! LoL when house would tip felt like house was going to roll over. Will never forget that experience! !
