This homestead was once one of three farms owned by various generations of the Harmsen family. The barn (background) and brooder coop (foreground, left) have been gone a long time. The shed with the "white" roof was smashed by falling trees during a straightline wind event, June 22, 2010. The house remains much the same, and is owned by Corky and Rhonda Boersma. It has been a very happy place to raise a big family.
