This is on Adams St. In Drenthe, lived here awhile growing up

This farm is at 7334 Adams St, one mile west of Drenthe. It was a 60 acre farm owned by my parents. I lived here from 1948 to 1968 when I went to Vietnam. I got home in 1969, married, then lived a mile away. My father died of a heart attack on the east (left) side of the house, under the kitchen windows on Sept 23, 1974 - his workshop (the "chicken coop") had caught on fire. I drove into the yard, saw smoke, got out of my car, he looked at me, and dropped to the ground. I soon bought this farm from my mother and moved back "home" in early 1975. I lived there until 1985 when I relocated to Minneapolis (re job). I planted the grape vines on the east (left) side of the garage. The tree near the road is a Northern Spy, one of two. Sadly, the farm has since been sub-divided. Lotsa memories....
