I remember renting and riding horseback on the lake road down Lincoln to the end of Samoset Blvd back to the Lakeview Stables! What fun we had back then.must have been around 1950/51/52 we were just teenagers. Lots of things changed since then. Remember Manor Market when they had long lines checking out and going to Charlie’s Resturant where Marilyn Frank cooked the best dinners! My kids worked there and cleaned Cottages for Collini’s Cabins. Those were Great times with the Witts,Stadlers,LeMay,s, Spitburgans, Camps, Hodges,Orlowski,s,Hufnagels,Fishers,Marshall’s,Mrs Williams, ,Bill Baker, what great Memories and my Grand children are making new ones every year! No better place to spend our summers and winters.
We went up all winter long to ski at Bear Mountain.and boys hunted every fall and still do!
