I grew up working at the track. Learned how to drive on it. At some point everyone in my family has worked there. I started when it was a dirt half mile with a quarter mile inside. I've painted and cut the grass on pretty much all of the photo. I saw George Harris win the "hotdog race" and I saw Will Terry pass away there. The old scoring tower is there and also looks like the old wooden grandstands. I've spent the rest of my life so far involved in racing from the small ranks on up to NASCAR Sprint cup.

Owosso Speedway, 1988 is the first year of the progressive banked 3/8 mile configuration that is still providing great side by side and 3 wide racing every Saturday night. The classes racing in 2019 are FWD, Purestocks, Sportsman, Mods and OSLM.
