Cattleman, John D. Radford had this house custom-built by Eddie Gotslaven & father (for his young family in 1955). The pole barn was the first barn built of this type (1960's) in St. Clair County. The interior of the house is absolutely beautiful w/ real wood knotty-pine walls in several rooms, and California redwood in dining room. The living room floor was natural oak. It was a well-built house.
Hi Dianne,
How did you know John Radford? Are the horse in the background part of this farm or did he only work with cattle?
