100 block of E. Michigan Ave. The building pictured was the home of The Initial Toe Pad Co (built in 1890), the A.T. Van Alstyne Company, and the Fabius Farms Meat Locker. This building was being demolished in 1968 and was replaced by the River Glen Apartments; now River Glen Condominiums.
Many remember bowling in the building to the left: Three Rivers Bowling Recreation at the corner of E. Michigan Ave and River St. They also remember names like Tom Lennon and Norberg's.
