My father & Grandfather built this home - located on the corner of 56th St & 32d Ave, about 1963. My dad owns the land behind the little red shed, the entire lot was 5 acres purchased from Robert Horton, a farmer located on M-43, about 1960. My dad, sold his brother, Dale Roe 2 of his 5 acres. Their father, lived about 1/2 a mile south of their homes, on 56th St. on a small pony farm. From the view of this photo, if you were at ground level, is where Mrs. Alice Cross's home once stood ( burned down by vandals in the 1980's I think).
