The siren at this fire department looks to be a Whelen WS-3000. One of many WS-3000 sirens that were part of the Enrico Fermi II Nuclear Power Plant warning system. Siren still sits today but has been replaced by a Federal Signal 2001-SRN siren within the last two decades. Most of the old sirens from this system currently operate in the Monroe County Siren System and have been since approx 2007?
