This farm was homesteaded by Mathias Storeim before 1899, and Mary Storeim still lived here in the 30's. In 1950, it was owned by M.S. Storm and may have been rented to John Shaleem. In 1960, it was still owned by the Storms but rented to Clarence Kleespie. By 1966 it had been purchased by Norel & Dorothy Mathison (my great-grandfather's cousin), and their son LeRoy (and his wife Kathy) lived here. Ten years later, the farm was owned by John & Sally Schultz, and their hired help Ron & Marlyce Thompson lived here. The farm sat vacant through the 90's, but when John Schultz sold his farm to Wellendorfs around 2001, he kept this farm and moved there soon after. It hasn't changed much at all since this photo was taken.
