My mom went to school and then had a job in Mankato. The family moved off the farm in 1989. The farm was farmed but the buildings sat empty and slumped back into the earth. It was cleared and is not gone. The farm site is gone but the memories remain.

This is where I grew up as a child. There is nothing there but black earth now,all has been dozed, buried and erased into history. This was a great place to fly in and out of. I had a runway along the side of the driveway which was 1/2 mile long! Looking at the photo brings back a flood of memories.
