Ray's (Ray Chester, prop.) Gas Station. I am just old enough to remember when he or his son-in-law would still come out, pump the gas and wash the windshield. By the time I was old enough to drive, they had quit doing it though.
It has been sold and is now called Woody's Pump-n-Munch. Gas pumps are now under an awning, and take credit cards. The diesel pump just behind the dark colored truck has been moved about 100 feet farther north on it's own island. Both garage doors on the east side have been closed in and the service garage converted into a Convenience store (needed in this town since the Village Mini-Market (Pod's) closed downtown a few years earlier.
