This house was across the road from the Owen Engvall farm north of West Concord. The building site is now gone as are all the trees at the top of the picture.
I lived in this little house, called Minnie's little house in 1944-47. My brother, Harvey, was born while we lived here. I recall having whooping cough at this house. It was called Minnie's because I think she was the heir to the house when her dad died. Minnie was a sister of Grover Dingler, she never married, and I don't think she ever lived there. My dad, Elmer Kleven, worked for Grover and planted the beautiful windbreak of evergreens to the north of the buildings. There was a garage which stood just west of the house, cannot be seen in this photo because of the large tree.
