Zion Lutheran Church (in the middle here), which had not been used as worship space for almost 20 years, hosted a few events in the 1980's (my wedding, my grandfather's funeral, he had been married there 55 years earlier, owned the general store to the left). It was slated to be torn down, but we gave it to a man who moved it 20 miles north (just sought of Brainerd) and converted it into a beautiful house. The church lives on!
