Wow! This is the farm we currently own! The address is 802 County Road 107 Northeast Eyota Minnesota. We bought the farm in August of 2021. This Farm is the original permanent Homestead in Viola Township and home of Carl Bierbaum, one of the first sellers in Olmsted County. This Farm has a ton of History, and we actually have an entire book that was put together about the Bierbaum family and the history of this Farm. It was settled in 1856 and remained in the Bierbaum family until the 1990s when it was sold out of the family for the first time. And then we bought the farm from the gentleman who purchased it in the 90s. Most all of the buildings in the photo are still standing and in great repair. A couple have been taken down and a couple have been added but for the most part it is the same. The house looks exactly the same now as it does in the photo. We have resurrected the old Garden on the west side of the house in almost the exact same size and location.
