I believe this to be a Schmitt farm. (not sure of the spelling-could be Schmidt ?) The driveway is essentially the only thing left of the site. The driveway is now a black topped public access on the north end to what is known as Thole Lake, approximately 4 miles south of Shakopee on County Road 79. The farm was gone by the late 1970's.
