George & Grace Larson farm, on the shores of Frog/Gorder Lake

My grandparents (George & Grace Larson) lived here when I was growing up, and my brother and I spent much of our summers here when we were young, during farming season, when both my parents and Grandpa farmed, and Grandma took care of us, the meals, lunches, and running here and there for this and that. In 1974, I graduated high school, my grandparents retired from farming and moved to Oregon to be near Grandma's sisters. My parents moved here that fall and continued farming until they retired in 1998. They still live here, however, both of them soon to be 86 and doing well (knock wood). In 2010, my husband and I put a home up in that triangular area west of this building site. We got moved in right before winter set in, mid November, so my parents could remain on the farm for as long as possible. It's now early spring 2022, we're all still there, living happily ever after on the Larson farm. :-)
