I grew up in this house and my parents live there until their deaths in 1970 and 1978. The house was located on my Grandfather’s farm and about 200 yards from his house where my Father grew up. My Father physically built this house, with the help of my Grandfather in 1937. The original structure had only 4 rooms. In 1951 it was enlarged, adding a bathroom, family room, another bedroom and front and back porches. The detached garage was built in 1958. The house and farm were sold after my Father’s death but it is still occupied and in very good condition.
