This is the location of the old Hurst School. My father (born in 1917) attended classes when he was a child. He and my mother purchased the property (early 1960's from the school district) and built the house shown in the photo. We lived in the schoolhouse for several years while our house was under construction, then the school building was demolished. I lived there with my parents and several siblings. I graduated high school in 1965. My parents sold the property to my older brother sometime in the 1980's I believe. Don't know when my brother sold the property.
