I have lived here 48 years and 5 tornadoes have came thru only 1 building remains.

I live on this farm. in 1886 Henry Hiser filed papers to homestead this land, he received the land grant October 1, 1891.( I still have the original document signed by President Benjamin Harrison) It was declared a century Farm in 1986.

This farm was homesteaded in 1881 by Benjamin F Hiser. The 5th and 6th generation family still live here. The farm has been hit by 5 tornadoes and one building is all that is left of the original buildings. This is a excellent picture.
