Paint Lick Cumberland Preysbaterian(spld wrg) Church......Got its name as they were white washing the church a deer came up and licked it off.......One room church where my family and I went my entire life till they closed it back in early 70's I believe......no running water, had to use the out house/ womans and mens 2 seater on each side. My sister Connie Briegel Wright/ Michael Wright was the last couple to get married there in 1964. when i went there we only had church once a month as the preacher came from Kansas City, Mo.....But all the woman would bring dishes of food, we would have service for a 1 hour or so then eat lunch and then a hour of church service afterwards....Still standing but who bought it uses it as storage....
