Kac Hine's filling station. Auburn, Missouri on MO State 61, Lincoln County. Expansion on Hwy 61 to 4 lanes closed this place down.

Kac had a pool table in his station. Played many a game with Pete and Floyd. Kac sold fireworks; Remember cherry bomb fights!

Used to get a candy bar for a dine and a 16 once double cola for fifteen cents there, and think I remember gas (full service by the way) for $.29. Kac handled all the money, and many who just stoped while passing by for gas never knew he was totally blind.
