This was the Hi Way 13 Drive-In (sometimes called the Highway 13 Drive-In), which opened in 1950.

Yes I certainly do have a personal connection to this Drive-In … Sarah ‘n F G Weary were the most wonderful owners/employers … They gave me my first job❣️… They picked me up/ drove me home ❣️
I cherish my time working there in the Consession stand 👏.. Sarah/F G hired all high school students , so many of our co-workers were also our classmates … I love being able to comment on my time at the
“13 Bowl / Drive-In” ‘n a bonus of working there was seeing/visiting with classmates/friends all summer long 👍❣️
