George & Francis (Grof) Schmidt Home.
The old house behind the new one was the house that Joseph & Mary Grof built & raised most of their children, including my husband's father. It was sold to his sister Francis & her husband George & continues to be farmed by Grof descendants, includeing the younger George Schmidt with occasional help from his 1st cousin 1x removed Jesse Grof. The old house was just recently taken down. Such history on this property.
