Taylor Homestead, North Rd, Brentwood. The last "Kings Grant" in this area,Herb Taylor was the last resident. The County took it by eminent domain in the early 70's for expansion to the County Nursing Home, burned it all down, then never used where the buildings stood. What a waste!
yes I lived there for 22 years before moving to Maine and married a Maine Lady Yes county never paid my folks what it was really worth I would have been the 12th generation to live there if I stayed
