I grew up in this house, my parents still live there. There is now a pole barn in front of the silo. The large tree in the front lawn is now gone and a pine tree is growing quite rapidly in the center of the front lawn. The largest tree on the right side of the house used to have a huge tractor tire hanging by a chain from a branch and a big dirt pile next to it, both of which me and my five siblings played with for many hours! We played with toy soldiers and Tonka trucks in the dirt pile. I used to like to climb the silo and look out the little window on the top, but always got in trouble as it wasn't safe. The barn that used to be in front of it burned to the ground around 1965, combustion in the hayloft.
