This was known for many many years as Lyon Sawmill, my father in law, Carl Lyon and sons Burchard and Bruce were owners. It was built around 1960 (??) having moved from Lyon Rd where they did not have electric and ran by steam. It had been operating there for many many many years. Carl Lyon now deceased, continued to operate there after his father
passed away. The mill and property is no longer owned by the Lyon family, but is still in business under another owner.
