11374 Kieffer Rd, Alden, NY 14004. My grandparents farm since 1946. Howard and Lorraine Krieb. I lived a couple doors away, my mom built a house on a lot my grandfather gave her. Aunts, Uncles and Cousins also all lived on this street. Many of the out buildings, dairy barn, hay barn, equipment barns have been torn down when the farm was sold in 1997. Spent many summers in the Olympic size pool they built for all the 16 grandkids, also gone now too. My grandfather worked the farm and had a full time night job at Dresser Steel. Grandma milked the cows at 3pm and 3am everyday. Hardest working people I have ever known. This farm was said by many to have the best soil for growing in the area. Baled hay every summer, played in the pond, rode horses, great times.
