This farm was my dad's. It is now in total disrepair, looks nothing like this. The buildings are falling apart.
This is an image of the former Howard F. and Elsie Slate family farm. They moved here in the fall of 1944 and raised eight children. They sold this family farm in 1967 and moved back to the original 1900 Slate family homestead approximately four tenths of a mile west where they retired and owned until 1993.
