I grew up in this house... My parents, Gary and Kathy D'Amico, bought it in 1982, I think, when it was essentially the frame, roof, and stone only... No electric, windows, plumbing, or appliances. The labor of love bringing it back to life was my childhood. But it was too much house for the two of them when my siblings and I grew up and moved out; later, after separating, my father finally sold it to its current owner in 2014. Needless to say, it has changed drastically since then... Well, maybe someday,the property will change hands again, and another young family will rehabilitate her once more!
