My grandfather, Billie Wright, built that house in 1950 (ish) and lived there until he passed away in 1989. It was owned by my family until the early 2000s. The house has been torn down and a new one is going to be built soon. The huge oak tree is still in the backyard. My grandmother planted that oak in 1950 to shade the house.

My favorite part of growing up there was swimming in the creek and the river. Most of my childhood was spent outdoors and in the water.
