Weary's Supply

Original location of Timberlake General Merchandise & Country Produce that sat at the intersection of the Grassy Creek-Virgilina Rd. and Grassy Creek Rd. in the Sassafras Fork township of Granville County, NC. Frank Marion Timberlake was the original owner/operator. His son Crawford Cooper built this building in 1939 after the previous structure burned. Timberlake graves are at Grassy Creek Baptist Church. Weary family acquired the property in 1962 and renamed in Wearys Supply. Sadly, the 1939 property burned in December 2019. This establishment and the Grassy Creek Baptist Church were the center of the Grassy Creek community.
