This building was constructed by the Old Mill Ruritan Club as their Clubhouse, with the wood shelter on the back. The little thing that looks like a doghouse in the back was actually the well cover. The Club later dissolved (in the late 1990s, I think) and the building has changed hands several times since. It was briefly a funeral home and currently houses a church. My parents (Jack and Marie Wynne) and my uncle (N.D. Griffin Jr.) were members of the Ruritan Club, along with many from the local area.
