This was the house my parents (Jack and Marie Griffin Wynne) built in the early 1960s. I think I was about 5 or 6 when we moved in, so that would be about 1961 or 62. It is on what was the east corner of my grandparents' farm. The street address now is 1465 Big Mill Road, but back then it was just Rural Route 2. The Box number changed from 565 to 787. The pine trees across the front have had to be removed since this photo, and now there is a line of live oaks across the front. You can see my dad's old truck in the backyard, and right next to the right edge of the photo you can see the old dog pen where he kept his hunting dogs.
