This isn't the old factory in Ashtabula, is it? I lived on w. 54th street, and from our backyard in the 1950s- 1960s, you could see their tall, slender smokestack partly hidden behind a neighbor's poplar tree.
this was in geneva between austin road and broadway on the north side of the north railroad tracks
