I currently own this home! In 44 years it has seen various different owners and tenants and quite a bit of damage. I’ve been working on restoring it.

What is the best thing you are doing to restore the building? Do you know when the house was built?

The house was built in 1904 and the first owner took possession of the house on January 11th, 1905.
According to the Title Agency, the first owner was a woman named Florence Parker.
The house was turned into a duplex at some point in it's lifetime and I want to turn it back into a single family home. I put a new roof on it, a new bathroom and laundry room and had to do all the woodwork because someone painted it a lovely shade of brown paper bag. I tore out all the carpet and had the original floors sanded. I was lucky that most of the wood trim is still the original. My next goal is to fix the siding and front porch. Someone removed all of the latticework and balusters. There used to be beautiful stained glass windows in the attic windows and those are gone. I want to have them recreated and put back in.
