The Rydzewski's purchased this property in the fall of 1994 . . . we actually got married in the front yard. We tore down the old barn and put up a new pole building and extended the driveway to the barn. We hand pulled most of the cattails in the pond, which we were told is spring fed, so it is very very clear and keeps a good level of water (anyone notice the 2 people in the chairs on the far side of the pond??) We also have 3 rock wells on the property and pump the water from one of the wells into the pond when it gets too full. In 1999 we totally gutted the house and replaced the septic system. Many of the pine trees on the far side of the pond have lived their life and are slowly dying off. The little cypress by the front porch and driveway is now a huge cypress. The large tree by the drive next to the house died a number of years ago. We have done so much to the place and it is beautiful!
