The loan tree across the road, is part of the old Sarah Cochran farm. Her house burned down sometime between the years of 1870-1880. I found the account of the fire in an old Wilmington Newspaper. It was in my Dad's things and when he died, I could find it. I have searching for the account for years. Unfortunately I no longer remember the exact date of the fire. In addition, the farm house picture was built after the original farm house burned sometime in the early 1900s.
