My great Grandmother Olive Purdom Fisher ( Stanley Fisher's widow) bought this farm in the mid to late fifties. My grandmother, Louise Fisher Hoppes, and daughter Jane Hoppes lived with and took care of Olive until her death in 1960. Louise and her second husband (Dwyer) remained on the farm until 2000. The farm had fallen in disrepair. The fourth generation of women moved in. One of the three daughters of Jane Hoppes Wills has her home (Sandra Meadows) on the property where the barn sat (2002) the house was raised 2010. The pump and well platform remain. Sandra's daughter and granddaughter have made their home on the property. Making this farm home to six generations of women....presently the three daughters of Jane Wills have a shared interest in property. April 1, 2015
