My Mom and Dad, Calvin and Ruby Brewer, farmed this farm for nearly 40 years. They raised their eight children here, seven girls and one boy.
I have photos of my grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins taken on the lawn dating back to the late 1930's. I also have photo's of the blizzard of 1950, taken by a cousin from Springfield who was stranded at our house during that storm.

1945-48. My Uncle William Marsh owned a farm nearby, toward Rt 729. The Rutherford family lived with my G'mother on one farm...The Edgar Marsh family lived "down the road". We had a bank barn, later demolished, as was our house. Wanda Brewer was in my class at Sabina...Eldon Marsh, now of Texas.
