This was a beautiful house, with a beautiful fire place, and the pretty wooden shelves, it was torn down, I think in the 90's. It was on the corner of South Norton Rd, and West Alkire Rd, were the gas station is now. ( I love history, I just remember were things were, well sometimes. )

I remember the house you are speaking of but I don't think this is a picture of it. That house was on the NW corner of Norton and Alkire. Back then Norton Rd stopped at Alkire, then took a jog to the west before continuing south at the golf course. If this were that house I would think you would see that jog in Norton as the house was fairly close to both roads.
