this looks like my grandfather's house.I have only been there once since they passed away. Thank you for posting it.My cousin still lives there.
I,too, believe it was my parents house where I lived for many years. The pad at the back of the house was for a house trailer where mom lived when she sold the house to my nephew. The large barn was destroyed by age.You can see a little of the remains in the back. The garage is still standing to the right of the picture. They bought the house from Frank Schaffner somewhere around 1943 or 1945. My nephew still lives there. Many memories there.
Forgot to add that there was a white wood fence that separated the Barn from the house. At one time the big white barn was considered the biggest in Fulton County. It was a great place to raise 4 children. There were fruit trees at one time to the left of the house,a big garden at the back and 3-4 walnut trees (which you can still see) on the right of the driveway.
