~it is very sad to see these farms go, they are a. Link to our past! I must note, farms of yesteryear, some were truly the hard life; remains of the "farm trash" still line the creek edges of this farm behind the house. Refrigerators with old freon And multiple tires and farm equipment appear to be sitting in the creek and buried just beneath the surface to this day (April 1,2017). Upscale housing is being built upon these areas and kids and adults sadly have access to these environmentally hazardous creeks and deer stands and blinds that still remain surrounding this area! Most people realize farm trash sites are common; so now it's time to acknowledge they are hazardous and call to get folks trained to organize clean-ups, and to take down the deer stands so no- one gets shot!
