My grandfather, Frank Appelfeller, built this farm, Hazel Dell, before his marriage in August 1914 to my grandmother, the former Anna Mae Martino. They raised six children here and moved to Mount Victory about 1954. His son Harry and his family lived her from late 1954 to early 1977. Having been born in 1941, I remember this farm well.
