Historical 60 + acre farming property, house built 1886. I currently live in this home. Much of the surrounding outbuildings and barns had been removed from the property before our ownership. The very large tree in the top left corner is no longer standing either- all that remains is a gigantic stump, evidence of the megalithic tree that once stood. The adjoining road known as Mack Road is no longer a functioning road, but in the past was an easy connector from Gundy Ridge Road to 151. The road is but a woodsy hiking path now. It is wonderful to see this property when it was part of a much larger working farm.
Hi Chelsie! Thank you for sharing your memories of the farming property in Harrison County. It's fascinating to hear about the changes over the years. Do you have any specific memories from growing up in the area? We'd love to hear more about the types of farming that were done on the property. Feel free to share any other details you remember from that time period.
